The Public Understanding of Law Survey (PULS) has reached a major milestone with our fieldwork recently wrapping up. The PULS is ground-breaking research to help us better understand legal capability, attitudes and experience of the law in the Victorian community.
We have now interviewed 6,000 Victorians, exploring how they experience, understand and navigate the law and everyday life problems.
We are now moving to the next stage of research - analysing the data and then releasing our findings. We anticipate the first of our PULS reports to be available later in the year.
We also have a new video available outlining what the PULS will enable us to do. The short video explains how the PULS provides new ways to capture and understand people’s experience of and response to justiciable issues.
We are excited to get into the data and look forward to sharing PULS findings with others as we explore the issues and circumstances that contribute to legal need.
